Raises $7.45M in First Quarter; $14.85M on Hand

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — McConnell Senate Committee campaign manager Kevin Golden today released the following statement on the McConnell campaign’s 2020 first quarter fundraising haul:

“Team Mitch had a record-breaking start to 2020 with our highest fundraising quarter in history and the most-ever cash on hand for any campaign in Kentucky’s history. Kentuckians know that at a time of great consequence, there is no substitute for the proven leadership of Mitch McConnell. The choice became so clear when Leader McConnell was writing and earning unanimous support for the largest rescue package in American history while Amy McGrath stood with Nancy Pelosi to urge further delay of relief in order to leverage left-wing priorities unrelated to the coronavirus. The enthusiasm from across the Bluegrass State to uphold our conservative values and reelect Senator McConnell will only grow as Election Day approaches.”
