McGrath Supports Harris’s Single-Payer Health Care Scheme

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — Team Mitch today released a new ad highlighting how Extreme Amy McGrath, just like Kamala Harris, fully supports a government-run, single-payer healthcare system. Using McGrath’s own words, “Healthcare” reveals how her support for radical healthcare policies is right in line with Washington Democrats, proving she would work with them to completely upend healthcare for Kentuckians.

“Amy McGrath is once again indistinguishable from radical, Washington liberals who are hellbent on forcing our country to follow socialist healthcare policies,” said McConnell Senate Committee campaign manager Kevin Golden. “McGrath’s preference for government-run, single-payer healthcare is a guise to raise taxes on hardworking Kentuckians while also making it harder for people to access quality, affordable care. Senator McConnell is working to protect people with pre-existing conditions, but Amy McGrath and Kamala Harris would rip away the healthcare thousands of Kentuckians rely on every day.”
