LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — McConnell Senate Committee campaign manager Kevin Golden today released the following statement after extreme liberal Amy McGrath began airing another false, negative political ad on Kentucky radio stations:
“Instead of putting the needs of Kentuckians first, Amy McGrath is lying to Kentuckians and spreading absolutely fake news during a national crisis. It has been five days since the President of the United States declared a national emergency, and Amy McGrath has not only refused to stop negative campaigning, she has added even more. This is despicable behavior even for somebody who casually compares the election of President Trump to 9/11.
“Senator McConnell is leading around-the-clock bipartisan efforts to deliver relief to Kentuckians and all Americans who are being impacted by the coronavirus. Team Mitch suspended our voter contact program, and we’re now providing meals to at-risk Kentuckians who are unable to leave their homes while the outbreak continues.”
